Choose the output
#Open Content and use New content. Content Studio offers Full article and Writer brief outputs, written in English.
- Choose the output.
- Select the funnel stage and format that fit the task.
- Choose Your own topic or start from an available opportunity.
- Describe the reader, problem, angle, and desired outcome in Creation instructions.
- Select Create article workspace or Create writer brief.
The next step asks for more detail. Full articles need at least one public source URL before generation. Sources are optional for a writer brief; missing support remains an explicit research gap.
Prepare the brief and evidence
#Answer the assistant's questions and save the working brief or instructions. Add public source URLs in the evidence area and review their captured status and excerpts.
For an article, use sources that support the facts you want to include. For a case study, verify customer names, quotations, dates, and outcomes against the captured sources before approval.
The progress rail separates the work into stages. Article stages include Brief, Evidence, Draft, Checks, Approval, and Webflow. Writer brief stages include Strategy, Sources, Outline, Instructions, Review, and Export.
Edit and review changes
#Edit the document directly in the block canvas, or send a revision request to the assistant. AI revisions appear as proposals with Before and Proposed comparisons.
Read the proposed changes, then select Accept change or Reject. Save the current work before requesting or accepting another revision. If the brief changes after a proposal was created, request a new proposal that uses the updated brief.
Use Undo and Redo for local editing. The save indicator shows whether the document is saved, saving, or needs attention. Resolve a save conflict before approving or exporting the version you intend to use.
Run checks and export
#Run checks after you finish editing, then review the findings for the current version. Checks help you find evidence and content gaps; you still need to read the draft and verify its claims.
Export supports copying Markdown, HTML, Plain Text, and Rich Text, plus downloading Markdown, HTML, and text files. Use the downloaded file when browser clipboard access is blocked.
Writer brief exports distinguish an unchecked draft from a checked handoff. Run the quality checks and resolve the findings before treating the brief as ready for the writer.
Deliver an article to Webflow
#Connect Webflow and finish the site, collection, and field mapping in Settings, under Connectors. Review the destination before sending content.
For an article, select Approve this version after reviewing the saved draft and its checks. Use Send draft to deliver the approved version as a Webflow draft. Publish live is available only when live publishing is enabled and the current version meets the publishing requirements.
Wait for the delivery status. A sent draft remains a draft. A verified live result includes a link to the published version. If the interface reports an unknown outcome, reload the article and check its latest status before repeating the action.
Changing the publishing destination does not remove earlier Webflow items. Review any previous delivery shown in the article before publishing elsewhere.
