Review the profile
#Open Knowledge Base from the sidebar and choose Profile. Check the brand name, location, geographic reach, language, and Brand Context.
Use Brand Context for a clear description of your business, the products you sell, and names or spellings that matter when tracking mentions. Replace outdated context when the business changes.
The exact spelling option restricts matching to the configured brand spelling. Read its description before enabling it if customers or AI answers commonly use variations of your name.
Record experience and expertise
#Use the E-E-A-T section for the experience, expertise, authority, and trust details you want to keep with the brand.
Write facts you can support: relevant experience, named qualifications, original research, or a clear description of the team's work. Keep a public source for any detail you plan to use in an article.
Saving a brand fact in Searchly does not by itself change an external AI assistant's knowledge or recommendations.
Set writing rules
#Open Tone / Writing Style. Save the tone of voice and writing rules you want used for your brand content.
Make the rules specific enough to follow. Describe the audience, terminology, point of view, formatting, and claims to avoid. Add a short example when a rule could otherwise mean several things.
Review a generated draft against those rules before approving it. The rules provide context; the draft still needs an editor.
Keep durable facts in Memory
#Use Memory for stable product facts, approved terminology, boundaries, and recurring instructions. Keep time-sensitive information dated so an editor can check whether it still applies.
Record the exact claim you can support, including any qualification. If a fact depends on a particular source, include the public link in the note and capture it again in Content Studio when it is needed.
Manage comparison brands in the Competitors section. Manage prompt categories in Prompts, under Topics.
